AI-Powered Citizen Grievance Redressal System

The objective is to develop an AI-powered system to automate and optimize the process of handling citizen grievances submitted through the UP CM Helpline 1076. This helpline receives thousands of complaints daily, covering a wide range of issues, from public services to administrative inefficiencies. To improve response time and ensure that critical cases are prioritized effectively, the system will leverage AI-driven sentiment analysis to classify, categorize, and prioritize complaints based on the urgency and emotional tone expressed by the citizens.

A system that automatically identifies whether the complaint is positive, neutral, or negative, and further categorizes it into predefined categories for appropriate forwarding to the concerned departments.

Prerequisites

Software Requirements (to be installed on the system):

  • Python environment
  • Notebook, PyCharm, or any other equivalent tool to write code
