Predicting Crop Yields & Weather Impact (Agriculture & Disaster Management)

The objective is to implement an AI-driven Crop Yield & Weather Impact Prediction System for Uttar Pradesh to forecast agricultural output, identify drought/flood risks, and provide early warnings to farmers. Since agriculture plays a crucial role in the state's economy, unpredictable weather patterns and natural disasters such as floods and droughts can severely impact yields and livelihoods.

A system that delivers timely insights and actionable recommendations, enabling farmers to make informed decisions and take preventive measures to minimize losses.

Prerequisites

Software Requirements (to be installed on the system):

  • Python environment
  • Notebook, PyCharm, or any other equivalent tool to write code

What skills should you have:

  • Python Programming
  • Machine Learning
  • LangChain or any framework to help work with LLMs
  • Understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models)
  • Knowledge of the RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pattern
